Job Description: SAP Fiori Developer
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, manage roles, catalogs, groups, and application assignments via SAP Fiori Configuration Cockpit using SAP BTP NEO platform.
- Build and deploy freestyle SAP Fiori applications to SAP Fiori Cloud Portal, including configuration of destinations, roles, and launchpad tiles.
- Build custom UI5 components and frameworks for SAP BTP Cloud Portal and S/4HANA On-Premise Launchpad.
- Manage Fiori Launchpad Sites using SAP Launchpad Service on BTP or Fiori Configuration Cockpit.
- Deploy custom Fiori app into SAP BTP using Multi-Target Application (MTA) architecture for SAPUI5 application deployment, including handling of .mtar files in BTP NEO platform.
- Support and enhance existing SAP Fiori applications and develop enterprise-grade mobile solutions aligned with SAP Fiori UX.
- Migrate projects from SAP Web IDE (NEO) to SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) on Cloud Foundry, adapting project structures and configuration files.
- Enhance standard Fiori apps such as MyInbox to consolidate workflow approvals.
- Lead migration of Fiori apps from SAP BTP Cloud Portal to S/4HANA On-Premise Launchpad.
- Ensure application security and perform systems integration across SAP and non-SAP environments.
- Develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and contribute to innovative initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 development, Fiori Launchpad (BTP & On-Premise), OData Gateway Services, SAP Web IDE, and Business Application Studio.
- Proficiency in Fiori design patterns, UI Theme Designer, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and jQuery.
- Expertise in SAP Cloud Portal Service administration and development.
- Experience in configuring and branding Fiori Sites, including creation of spaces, pages, roles, and widgets.
- Hands-on experience with Web IDE in SAP BTP NEO environment.
- Experience with SAP Mobile Platform Server Management and mobile Fiori app development.
- Solid understanding of SAP Cloud Platform services and integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Familiarity with REST/OData protocols and cross-browser support (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.).
- Collaboration with SAP functional consultants to deliver, maintain, and enhance SAP functionality.
- ABAP programming experience including REST/OData services.
- Knowledge of HANA modeling and CDS views is a plus.
- Ability to recommend technology optimizations and lead performance enhancement initiatives.
Educational Qualifications:
- B.Sc.- Information Technology or equivalent, or higher, and
- Major in their respective functional area of expertise, or equivalent
- SAP Certification with respect to SAP development technologies is mandatory
Years of Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of development experience in SAP Fiori.
- 5-7 years of experience in both implementation and application support with respect to SAP Fiori developments in their respective functional area
- Should have worked on or supported 3-4 SAP full cycle implementation from an SAP development perspective
Technical Competencies:
- SAP Fiori Expert
- SAP ABAP Intermediate
- Experience in Web IDE and Eclipse
- Knowledge of ABAP on HANA.
- Experienced in HR ABAP is preferred
- Experienced in Business Application Studio
- Respective SAP functional area Advanced
- Business Communication Advanced
