SAP CI/FICA Consultant

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP FI-CA and/or Convergent Invoicing (CI).
• Strong understanding of FI-CA processes: account determination, dunning, clearing, payments, returns, contract accounting.
• Experience in Convergent Invoicing: charging, billing, invoicing cycles, billable items, BITs/DITs, provider contracts.
• Good knowledge of integration with FI-CO, SD, SOM, and middleware (CPI/PI).
• Ability to perform configuration, testing, defect resolution, and functional documentation.
• French language – fluent (mandatory).
• English – good working level.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Basic understanding of ABAP debugging (to analyze issues).
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Knowledge of telecom, utilities, media, or subscription-based industries. 
  

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs for FI-CA and/or Convergent Invoicing.
• Perform system configuration, customization, and support for CI/FICA processes.
• Handle billing, invoicing, charging, account posting, payments, dunning, clearing, and related processes.
• Execute unit tests, integration tests, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify and resolve system defects, perform root-cause analysis.

• Work directly with French-speaking business users (workshops, requirements gathering, training).
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, and configuration guides.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams (ABAP, CPI) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Support go-live, hypercare, and ongoing application management activities.
