SAP Business Solutions Manager, TEMES SA

TEMES Group is a leading investor, developer and operator of high-end tourism and real estate destinations in Greece.

The Group owns Costa Navarino, one of the largest tourism investments in the Mediterranean. The destination encompasses five distinct resort areas developed on 1,000 hectares, featuring 5-star hotels, luxury private residences, signature golf courses, and many year-round facilities and activities.

The Group also controls Ionian Hotel Enterprises S.A., owner of a historic and flagship property in the center of Athens, former Hilton Athens, which is currently being transformed into a new city destination.

Additionally, TEMES has partnered with Lamda Development S.A. with the majority stake in the joint development of two state-of-the-art hotels along with branded residences in the framework of the landmark project of The Ellinikon, which aims to put the ‘Athens Riviera’ on the global tourism map.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Business Solutions Manager to join our IT team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of SAP systems, specifically focusing on the MM (Materials Management), FI (Financial Accounting), and SD (Sales and Distribution) modules. The SAP Business Solutions Manager will ensure that these systems effectively support business operations and drive efficiency across the organization, managing both vendor relationships and an in-house team. The position will be reporting to the IT Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Partnership and Technology Roadmap implementation:
• Understand and address business needs and challenges related to SAP solutions, including MM, FI, and SD modules.
• Key contributor in developing and driving the SAP strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to select and deliver effective SAP solutions, working closely with vendor partners and internal teams.
• Build and lead a skilled team dedicated to SAP solutions development, including identifying key roles, recruiting top talent, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Project Management:
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide solutions.
• Oversee the implementation and optimization of SAP MM, FI, and SD modules to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful delivery.
• Vendor and Team Management:
• Manage relationships with SAP vendors to ensure effective delivery of services and solutions.
• Lead and mentor an in-house team, providing direction and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Facilitate effective communication between vendors, IT, and business units to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Ensure effective communication between IT and business units.
• Conduct regular meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Change Management:
• Lead efforts to ensure smooth adoption of SAP technologies and address any resistance to change.
• Develop and implement change management strategies to support SAP initiatives.
• Performance Metrics:
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of SAP initiatives.
• Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure goals are met and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in IT, with significant experience in SAP implementation and management, particularly with MM, FI, and SD modules.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• SAP certification is highly desirable
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong configuration and hands-on experience with SAP MM, FI, and SD modules. Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules and external applications.
• Strong knowledge of business processes analysis and challenges
• Passionate about delivering solutions and solving customer and business problems
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management, project management tools and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum)
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to prioritize initiatives.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for working cross functionally across organizational levels with the ability to collaborate across a diverse, multi-functional environment
• Strong team management skills, provide direction and mentorship to his/her team (junior to mid-level experience)
