SAP A2R Functional Lead

Overall leadership skillsets/knowhows for the architect role:

    Very strong knowledge of fundamentals of financial accounting including parallel ledgers to cater to the local regulatory, GAAP, and IFRS accounting principles related requirements.

    Very strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead, manage, and steer the conversations with the financial accounting leadership community to secure fruitful outcomes.

    Must be a thought leader to achieve better outcomes during the cross-workstream discussions, present better and amicable alternative point of views with pros and cons analysis of options with rational filled recommendations.

    Must be able to design, structure, and articulate the key stakeholders SAP S/4 HANA workshop contents. 

    Align the business process designs and management with SAP S/4 HANA centric ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ functional and system architecture, data and solution design strategy, support organizational change management needs.

    Must be able to lead, manage, and provide thought leadership to the team of consultants, onshore and off. 

Functional knowhows (for lead asset accounting architect as well as the lead consultant):

    Must be well-versed with simplified parallel valuation approaches available within latest SAP S/4 HANA asset accounting for IFRS and local GAAP

    Must be well-versed with the provision of advanced flexible depreciation methods available within latest SAP S/4 HANA asset accounting that would allow users to align various depreciation areas with organization / location specific reporting requirements as well as grouping together assets by depreciation keys.

    Must be well-versed with integration of SAP S/4 HANA asset accounting with other modules such as; controlling, materials management and purchasing, project systems (with and without investment measures)

    Must be well-versed with advanced period end closing available in SAP S/4 HANA to facilitate asset accounting month end closing activity monitoring and reporting.

    Must be well-versed with new improved asset lifecycle management, asset transfer functions, migration tools withing the migration cockpit, SAP Fiori based interactive user interface, and asset tracking within SAP S/4 HANA

    Interacts with and engage the key user community throughout the lifecycle of the project phases, create / lead creating workshop contents, configuration rational documents, specifications, KDDs, pros and cons analysis with point of views, conduct workshops, liaise between the SAP S/4 HANA technical as well as cross-functional teams and the key user community, conducts the functional unit and system integration tests throughout the build and test phases, leads, manages, and monitors the data migration efforts throughout the phases of the SAP S/4 HANA project lifecycles.
