About the Role

Be part of a successful and expanding Salesforce Practice across Australia and New Zealand. This is a role that will enable you to be integral in our growing team to meet the demand we see for Salesforce. As a Salesforce Functional Consultant, you will be a key member of the team, bringing extensive, hands-on experience implementing Salesforce first and foremost. Secondly, your resume will show you also as someone who is able to draw in the customer needs and offer resolution leveraging the breadth of the Salesforce application. Initially you will be able to sink your teeth into an exciting green fields project.

This role is based in Melbourne.

What you’ll do

As a Salesforce Functional Consultant, you will:

• Build and solidify trusting relationships with our clients and actively collaborate on solutions with other teams
• Take care of Business analysis, facilitating workshops with stakeholders to tease out requirements and convert into technical specifications inspired by Salesforce best practices
• Undertake project related documentation
• Creates solutions using configuration and declarative tools on the Salesforce platform
• Provide post-implementation support of customer environments.

We work in a Hybrid working environment at Datacom, and this role is based in Melbourne.

What you’ll bring

As a Functional Consultant - Salesforce we would expect you to have at least 3+ years of Salesforce.com knowledge required

You will be able to demonstrate the below:

• Strong experience as a functional consultant on the Salesforce platform and the ability to identify gaps between current and desired end-states
• Broad knowledge of the Salesforce platform and solutioning experience across Sales, Service and Community Cloud
• Significant experience working in an Agile software engineering team
• FSL (Field Service Lightning) certification and experience
• Desire to learn and eager to extend your Salesforce knowledge
• Initiative and relative autonomy, working on projects with ease and professionalism
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, structured problem-solving skills and a results-driven approach
• Experience with and understanding of declarative enhancement tools in Salesforce such as Flows, Process Builder, Formulas and Validation Rules, Schema Builder
• Salesforce.com Consultant certifications
