Salesforce Engineering Manager – Remote (Central & South America)

Why this Role Matters:
At Greenbox Capital, we help small businesses thrive by giving them fast, accessible funding. As the Salesforce Engineering Manager, you’re the kind of leader who loves building, shaping, and leveling up a high-impact engineering team. In this role, you’ll guide a tight-knit group of Salesforce developers and QA engineers as you design, build, and deliver the next evolution of Greenbox’s Salesforce-powered MCA platform.

You bring deep technical expertise and a steady leadership presence. You know how to inspire strong engineering habits, champion scalable architecture, and keep quality front and center as your team ships meaningful, well-crafted solutions that power critical areas of the business.

You’ll be hands-on when it counts - setting standards, jumping into complex design work, and driving continuous improvement across coding, testing, and release practices. At the same time, you’ll help define the future of the platform by partnering closely with product owners, architects, and technology leadership to align technical strategy with fast-moving business needs.

If you thrive in environments where you can build, coach, innovate, and elevate - this is your kind of opportunity.

What Success Looks Like:
•    Reliability: You consistently deliver complete, functional solutions on time, keeping projects moving and stakeholders confident in the team’s output.
•    Efficiency: Your estimates are accurate, priorities are clear, and the team’s overall speed improves because you help remove roadblocks and keep work flowing.
•    Quality: Releases are smoother, deployments succeed more often, and production defects decline because you prioritize clean architecture, testing, and long-term maintainability.

  • What You’ll Do:
  • Leadership & Management
o    Manage a small team of Salesforce developers, QA engineers, and administrators, providing direction, coaching, and performance feedback
o    Define and enforce development standards, coding conventions, and review processes to maintain a consistent, high-quality codebase
o    Own team performance metrics, including velocity, quality, and release predictability
o    Partner with product and technology leadership to prioritize and plan work aligned to business goals
o    Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the team
  • Technical Ownership
o    Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enhancements to Greenbox’s custom Salesforce platform for MCA loan origination, underwriting, and servicing
o    Serve as a technical contributor in complex design and coding efforts (Apex, LWC, and API integrations)
o    Oversee system stability, data integrity, and performance tuning, ensuring uptime and scalability for mission-critical workflows
o    Partner with architects and DevOps to optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensure high test coverage, and enforce deployment validation standards
o    Drive adoption of best practices for automated testing, version control, and secure, compliant development

  • Cross-functional Collaboration
o    Work with business stakeholders to translate fintech and MCA requirements into scalable technical solutions
o    Collaborate with Data and Platform Engineering teams to ensure consistent integration patterns between Salesforce, Fundingo, and external systems (banking, payment, and document services)
o    Act as the technical escalation point for complex incidents, root-cause analysis, and production troubleshooting

You’re a Strong Fit if You:
•    Demonstrate the ability to lead teams through technical change, coach engineers, and manage delivery timelines
•    Have high emotional intelligence and proven ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across teams in a remote environment
•    Have strong interpersonal and communication skills (English), with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences
•    Foster autonomy and high performance within the team while maintaining technical rigor

What You’ve Done Before:
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field required
•    7 + years of Salesforce development and administration experience, including 2+ years leading or managing an engineering team
•    Strong understanding of Salesforce data architecture for lending and financial workflows (loans, renewals, underwriting, collections)
•    Proven success in multi-cloud Salesforce implementations (Sales, Service, Experience)
•    Deep understanding of MCA or alternative lending operations. Experience with lending/fintech Salesforce packages strongly preferred

Tools and Expertise You’ll Bring:
•    Deep expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs, SOQL
•    Experience with CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps, and automated testing frameworks
•    Familiarity with Azure DevOps for agile planning and reporting
•    The ability to write and speak in English at a professional level
•    Familiarity with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing for high-volume transactions
