About the Role
We are looking for a Salesforce Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable Salesforce solutions, including Marketing Cloud. This role will play a key part in improving architecture, reducing technical debt, and driving integration between Salesforce and revenue systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Improve and build scalable solutions to address architectural gaps and technical debt
  • Provide technical vision and analyse trade-offs between usability, performance, and scalability
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce and other Martech solutions
  • Propose best-fit technologies for data processing and data frameworks
  • Influence system design direction and ensure secure, scalable architecture
  • Design and develop integration solutions between Salesforce, in-house applications, and revenue systems
  • Collaborate with engineering, business operations, and automation teams
  • Check in and deploy code/configurations; participate in release management
  • Participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
  • Define testing strategies, assess risks, and perform QA where required
  • Manage ongoing support requests and ensure timely resolution
  • Develop and maintain documentation, best practices, and technical standards

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
  • Strong experience with Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Data Extensions, APIs, AMPscript/SSJS preferred)
  • Experience with Apex, SOQL, Lightning (LWC/Aura), and Salesforce integrations
  • Solid understanding of data architecture and data modelling
  • Experience with REST/SOQL APIs and middleware/integration platforms
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and release management processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance business and technical trade-offs
  • Experience working in Agile environments

Nice to Have

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification
  • Experience in fintech or high-growth tech companies
  • Multi-cloud Salesforce exposure (Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.)
