Civica India is looking for a skilled, innovative, and self-driven Salesforce engineer with significant experience across various aspects of the Salesforce platform who is eager to be part of a multicultural software company. The engineer will collaborate with the Salesforce team to guarantee that projects are thoughtfully envisioned, expertly developed, and successfully delivered to meet business requirements. This role involves overseeing every stage, from capturing initial requirements to designing, constructing, ensuring quality, and final deployment.

  • Configure and customize Salesforce in accordance with best practices, ensuring that solutions are implemented seamlessly, efficiently, and accurately, along with the necessary documentation.
  • Engage in discussions with stakeholders and the project team.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant standards at the corporate, industry, national, and international levels.
  • Contribute technical expertise to project design and deliverables.
  • Take ownership of the modules assigned to you as part of the project.
  • Actively participate in hands-on design, development and testing on projects.
  • Participate in governance activities across the projects, ensuring solutions meet the internal and external requirements for the effectiveness, efficiency, confidentiality, integrity, availability, compliance, and reliability of all architecture governance-related information, services, and processes.

Requirements

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Have at least 3 years of hands-on technical expertise with Salesforce.
  • Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycles, tools and methods to support seamless deployments, including refresh cycles and overall environment management.
  • A true enthusiasm for exploring the latest Salesforce innovations and staying informed about all the thrilling new feature launches.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce development tools such as LWC, Visualforce, Apex, API, REST services, and JavaScript, in addition to experience with integrations involving corporate websites and custom solutions. Familiarity with single sign-on technologies (e.g., SAML, OAuth, Active Directory, ADFS) and experience in data migration processes to and from Salesforce, including a strong understanding of data models and schemas.
  • Experience integrating with various Salesforce modules beyond Sales Cloud, as well as third-party solutions like Eloqua, LinkedIn, and numerous AppExchange offerings.
  • Revamping and modernizing legacy applications.
  • Management of Azure DevOps.
