Founded in 2014, Product School was bootstrapped for the first 7 years before raising $25 million from Leeds Illuminate. We are proud to be a profitable, fast-growing company shaping the future of education.

The Role:

We are looking for a Mid-level Salesforce Engineer (AI & Integrations) to help build, optimize, and maintain our Salesforce environment as the core system in our Go-To-Market platform—while also being hands-on with AI-powered workflows that improve how we operate across our GTM stack. This isn't a traditional Salesforce role; it's a position for a developer who wants to sit at the intersection of CRM, Backend Engineering, and Generative AI.

This is an engineering-first role designed for a developer who thrives at the intersection of CRM and Cloud Infrastructure. While your core will be Salesforce (Apex, LWC), you will also actively contribute to our Node.js/NestJS developments to bridge our systems. You will ship and operate the implementation of AI-driven agentic workflows and maintain a high standard for data integrity, help keep reporting and BigQuery pipelines robust, scalable, and actionable.

What you'll do:

  • Salesforce Engineering (Core): Build and optimize Salesforce components (Apex, LWC, Flows) including Async/Scheduled Apex, REST API integrations/webhooks, Custom Metadata, configuration, and the security model with a focus on scalability and performance.
  • AI & Agentic Workflows: Build and operate LLM-powered (OpenAI or similar) that automate internal tasks and improve customer/student-facing experiences where appropriate. Focus on structured outputs, safe error handling and fallbacks, PII-safe data usage, and lightweight evaluation (golden set / regression checks) to maintain quality over time.
  • Ecosystem & Backend Bridge: Help maintain and evolve the connection between Salesforce and our private NestJS API. You’ll ensure that events and data move seamlessly between the CRM and our backend.
  • Data Stewardship for Reporting: Design Salesforce structures with reporting in mind and collaborate to keep downstream data flows reliable. Help ensure synced data remains clean and consistent by handling schema changes thoughtfully, improving data quality, and supporting troubleshooting when issues arise.

This role could be a good fit for you if:

  • Experience: 2 to 4 years as a Salesforce Developer. You are a "code-first" dev comfortable with Apex, LWC, and complex REST integrations.
  • Cross-stack learning mindset: You’re motivated to expand beyond Salesforce—reading API contracts/logs and understanding how events and data move across systems—so you can troubleshoot end-to-end and deliver reliable solutions.
  • AI Enthusiast: You have experimented with AI APIs (like OpenAI), LLM-powered workflows, prompting and are eager to learn how to build production-ready AI agents.
  • Solid engineering fundamentals: maintainable code, basic testing discipline, and comfort troubleshooting production issues.
  • Desirable (Not Mandatory):
    • Experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
    • Experience with NestJS, or MongoDB.
    • Experience with Marketing Automation Tools or high-volume event-driven automation.
    • Familiarity with BigQuery, Fivetran, or modern data stack workflows.
    • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Administrator, or equivalent.
