Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce Manual QA Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce functionality, an eye for detail, and a passion for ensuring software quality. You will be responsible for manually testing Salesforce applications, validating business requirements, and ensuring seamless functionality across various processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual testing of Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom solutions.
  • Review and analyze user stories, requirements, and technical documentation to create detailed test plans and test cases.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing to ensure software meets defined standards.
  • Identify, document, and track defects in the bug-tracking system and work closely with developers to resolve them.
  • Validate Salesforce configurations, workflows, and automation rules to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Test Salesforce reports, dashboards, and data integrity to ensure accurate insights and analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver high-quality software.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce updates and releases to ensure system compatibility and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Manual QA Tester, with at least 1 year focused on Salesforce applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce functionalities, including workflows, validation rules, and reports.
  • Experience with test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
  • Familiarity with testing tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of SDLC and QA best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.                                                                                                           Must Have skills :-
  • Lightning Inspector, Salesforce Inspector, Developer Console, SOQL/SOSL,
  •  Data Loader, Workbench, REST/SOAP API testing (Postman), Selenium WebDriver, Provar/Tosca/ACCELQ, Page Object Model, BDD (Cucumber), CI/CD (GitHub/Jenkins), Excel advanced functions, browser DevTools, Scratch Org/Sandbox testing, Salesforce metadata & security model, testing Flows/Apex/LWC.

Preferred Skills

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder).
  • Experience with testing integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of testing APIs and web services.
