Sales Training Manager

Role Overview

As a Sales Training Manager, you are responsible for facilitating training and developing coaching programs for the sales organization, including Sales managers. You work collaboratively with colleagues, subject matter experts, and the sales and operations leadership team to drive new hire training and ongoing program development for virtual learning offerings. You manage the implementation and evaluation of instructor-led virtual learning programs to increase learner success demonstrated by measurable learning and performance outcomes.

What you do each day:

  • Facilitate training sessions for new hires, current employees, and managers
  • Coach sales managers through training, coaching, and developing their teams
  • Lead scheduling, organizing, and orchestrating new hire and ongoing training
  • Consult with stakeholders to assess learning and training needs, identify gaps and determine appropriate learning strategy
  • Design and develop training materials
  • Identify training needs and schedule appropriate training sessions for employees
  • Implement and measure ongoing coaching and developmental processes
  • Collaborate with management to continuously maintain and develop training curriculum to improve and evolve our programs as we grow and scale the business
  • Manage projects and processes to ensure timely completion
  • Accountable to new-hire performance metrics
  • Additional duties and tasks may be assigned as the Enablement Department scales and evolves

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in training or employee development
  • 1+ years in a people leadership position
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, advanced degree or additional certification a plus
  • 6+ months of coaching and development experience
  • Proven track record of being a top sales performer
  • Experience designing and/or delivering sales and leadership training
  • Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth and development
  • Consistently meeting/exceeding sales targets

  • Analytical problem solver who takes initiative to move toward solutions
  • Self-manager able to initiate and deliver upon multiple priorities with multiple timelines and deadlines
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly

Location Dependent Information

This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $75,000-$93,500. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
