The Role!
We are looking for a high-performing Sales Lead. This is a rare opportunity to become a critical member of a rapidly growing, well-funded start-up.
The Sales Manager/ Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of Sales Executives to drive new merchant acquisition, exceed revenue targets, and expand market share in the e-commerce logistics sector. The role includes performance management, coaching, pipeline supervision, and ensuring alignment with company growth objectives.
What will you do:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Executives to meet monthly and quarterly sales targets
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve new customer acquisition goals
Monitor sales pipeline via CRM (e.g., Freshsales) and ensure continuous deal progression
Collaborate with other departments (Operations, Tech, Finance) to ensure seamless merchant onboardin
Conduct regular performance reviews, track KPIs, and provide coaching to improve team productivity
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities
Assist in negotiating commercial offers and closing strategic deals when needed
Maintain an active understanding of the logistics and e-commerce ecosystem
Arrange sales meetings with prospective corporate clients
Identifies service improvements or new services by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
Work alongside the business in the areas of strategy, sales operations, and financial goals of the department
Identify all sales channels, and implement and execute effectively on sales strategies to win this segment
Who are you:
2–3 years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in logistics or e-commerce sectors
Proven track record of team management and target achievement
Strong understanding of sales methodologies and CRM systems (preferably Freshsales)
Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Must be results-oriented and goal-driven
Outgoing and persuasive personality
Strong negotiation skills to close sales
Strong existing working relationships with clients
Very good English level.
Familiarity with the logistics industry is a plus
Experience using support tools
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Patience when handling tough cases from couriers .. etc.,
