Sales Team Lead (Upsell)

Lead the upselling strategy at Booksy while guiding a specialized team and enhancing our partners' success through targeted market solutions.

Your career as an Upselling Team Lead at Booksy will give you the opportunity to build our upselling strategy from the ground up, leading a specialized team and owning the commercial relationship with our existing partner base. You’ll be at the forefront of helping our partners attract new clients through our marketplace (Boost) and collect payments seamlessly via our app (Mobile Payments), driving value for everyone involved.

Working closely with the Senior Sales Manager, you’ll lead a team of 3–10 people, fostering a high-performance culture while managing your own portfolio of active accounts. You’ll be excited by the prospect of identifying growth triggers, like partner activity signals and usage patterns—and building them into a repeatable process that helps businesses thrive.

What you’ll do to thrive in this role:

  • Shape the strategy: You’ll define the upselling approach for Boost and Mobile Payments, including target segments and conversion playbooks.
  • Lead and mentor: You’ll be responsible for the development of your team, providing coaching, conducting 1:1s, and holding members accountable.
  • Optimize execution: You’ll design the upsell motion within Salesforce, setting up the stages, fields, and reporting structures needed for success.
  • Direct impact: As a "player-coach," you’ll run discovery conversations to understand partner goals and close upsell deals within your own book of business.
  • Innovate and test: You’ll be the first to test new messaging and sales approaches before rolling them out to the wider team.
  • You’ll analyze and optimize team performance by reviewing reports and customer data to identify new growth trends and opportunities.
  • You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with our Marketing, Product, and Ops teams to align on strategic decisions and escalate team needs.

Requirements

Essentially, to ensure you succeed in this role you’re going to need…

  • Demonstrable, repeated experience and success in leading and motivating sales/upsell teams, ideally within a fast-paced Tech or SaaS environment.
  • Practical, hands-on experience using CRM tools, specifically Salesforce to track customer interactions and manage workflows.
  • A data-driven mindset, with the ability to use analytical tools to evaluate team performance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire a team and influence senior leadership.
  • A proactive "Owner" mentality, with the drive to resolve conflicts, delegate effectively, and make informed decisions independently.
  • Fluency in English to work closely with global and cross-functional teams, combined with a high level of Spanish.
