Industrial Sales Support Engineer will work with our local sales team, regional sales managers, and customers for successful sales conversion. This also includes the pre-sales activities, where one has to assist in formulating/ reviewing the product specification as per the customer's needs, and accelerate the sales procedure accordingly. SSE has to provide training to customers if necessary, preparing the needed material.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to the sales team during quotation, including review of customer requirements
  • Prepare techno-commercial proposals based on customer requirements
  • Conduct product demonstration and technical training for customers
  • Collaborate with the corporate technical team to provide optimal solutions to customers
  • Collaborate with technical engineers to provide post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Continuously learn and develop knowledge of power systems, staying up-to-date with the company products portfolio
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (e.g. sales, engineering, technical) to ensure the success of the business

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, telecommunications or related field
  • Min. 5 years of related working experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of power systems and electrical design
  • Fluency in Italian and English
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Visio/CAD
  • Business travel is mandatory depending on customer requirements (40-60% of the time)
