We are currently looking for a: Sales Representative

A Sales Representative at MIDEA is responsible for managing strategic relationships with distributors, retailers, and B2B customers across the Caribbean region. This role drives business development, revenue growth, and market share expansion for each assigned category. The position oversees sell-in and sell-out strategies, order management, marketing activation, and overall account profitability, ensuring sustainable growth and strong long-term partnerships aligned with MIDEA’s regional objectives.

Responsibilities and Objectives

  • Strategic Relationship Management: Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and B2B customers across Caribbean territories.
  • Business Development & Revenue Growth: Drive category growth through structured account plans, expansion initiatives, and identification of new business opportunities.
  • Sell-In & Sell-Out Strategy: Lead commercial strategy execution to achieve sales targets, increase market share, and optimize channel performance.
  • Order Management: Oversee order processing, forecasting alignment, inventory planning, and coordination with supply chain to ensure product availability and prevent stock-outs.
  • Marketing & Local Activation: Coordinate and execute marketing initiatives, trade marketing activities, and local activations to strengthen brand presence and demand generation.
  • Account Profitability: Monitor margins, pricing structures, and promotional investments to ensure sustainable profitability.
  • Collection & Credit Management: Follow up on receivables, monitor Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and support credit evaluations to maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Market Intelligence: Analyze competitive landscape, pricing trends, and category performance to support strategic decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, marketing, finance, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs and prepare regular business reviews with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Among other duties as assigned.

     

    Experience & Background

    ·       +4 years of working experience in sales or related fields.

    ·       Experience managing distributors or multi-territory accounts.

    ·       Regional Caribbean market experience.

    ·       Supply chain experience

    ·       Experience in the home appliances industry is a plus

    ·       Marketing experience

     

    Degree and Language

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is required.
    • Advanced English.
