Sales & Marketing Operations Intern

The intern will configure CRM systems to optimize marketing and sales processes, provide marketing support across digital channels, and track key funnel metrics for actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and customize the CRM to align with the company’s marketing and sales funnel requirements, ensuring proper lead tracking, segmentation, and lifecycle management.
  • Support the development of Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) playbooks, including lead scoring frameworks, routing rules, and handoff processes between marketing and sales.
  • Provide ad-hoc marketing support across digital channels, including social media, campaign execution, and marketing operations tasks.
  • Partner closely with the Sales team to understand workflows, pain points, and best practices, and translate those insights into a structured sales playbook covering outreach sequences, call scripts, deal stage definitions, and follow-up cadences.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track key funnel metrics, including lead volume, MQL-to-SQL conversion rates, and pipeline velocity, providing actionable insights to both marketing and sales leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a B.S. in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Prior experience or coursework in marketing operations or CRM setup (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) required.
  • Familiarity with marketing funnel concepts, lead generation, and campaign analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Compensation:

  • $18 USD per hour
