Sales Manager – Networking Solution
Teltonika Japan is looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Sales Manager to lead the growth of our IoT Networking business in Japan. This is a high-impact role for a self-motivated professional who thrives in an independent environment and is passionate about developing new business opportunities in the industrial connectivity space.

As part of Teltonika’s global Networking Solutions Business Unit, you will represent a portfolio of industrial and enterprise connectivity solutions including routers, gateways, switches, and our Remote Management System (RMS). Our technologies support mission-critical applications across Industry 4.0, Energy & Utilities, Smart Cities, and Transportation, helping customers achieve digital transformation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze the Japanese industrial IoT market to identify key stakeholders and target accounts that can benefit from Teltonika’s networking solutions.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan driven by proactive lead generation and outbound business development.
  • Build strong relationships with end customers, system integrators, and channel partners.
  • Understand client technical and business needs, positioning Teltonika as a trusted long-term partner.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage pipelines, forecast revenue, track KPIs, and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Represent Teltonika Japan at exhibitions, networking events, and industry meetings.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience within IoT, networking, telecommunications, or industrial connectivity (direct and/or channel sales).
  • Strong understanding of the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, technical consultation, proposal, negotiation, and closing.
  • Proven success in hunter-style outbound sales and new business development.
  • Deep knowledge of the Japanese market with an established professional network in industrial IoT or related sectors.
  • Ability to work independently with strong time and pipeline management skills.
  • Logical thinker with creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-driven, resilient, and results-oriented with a “can-do” mindset.
  • Native level Japanese and business level English communication skills (written and spoken).
