This role is a hands-on leadership position responsible for driving the growth and performance of a field sales team focused on B2B technology and service solutions. You will act as both a strategic leader and an active contributor in the field, coaching new hires, managing client relationships, and ensuring consistent execution of the sales process. This role requires building scalable workflows, monitoring key performance metrics, and fostering a high-performing, data-driven sales culture. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to align product, operations, and marketing support with sales initiatives. Accountabilities:
Lead the day-to-day operations of a field sales team, establishing workflows, coaching rhythms, and performance standards
Drive revenue growth through disciplined execution of sales plans, campaigns, and client engagements
Monitor KPIs and pipeline activity, leveraging sales data to optimize performance and ensure targets are met
Support high-stakes negotiations and client interactions, acting as a “Player-Coach” in the field
Develop and implement training programs to accelerate onboarding and skill development for team members
Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure the sales team has the tools, collateral, and operational support to succeed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field; equivalent work experience considered
Minimum of 5 years of progressive B2B sales experience, ideally in technology, call center operations, or automotive/roadside assistance
Proven track record in leading teams, establishing processes, or starting sales territories
Strong leadership and coaching skills to motivate and develop high-performing teams
Data-driven decision-making skills, with experience leveraging CRM systems and sales analytics
Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and communication abilities
Willingness to travel domestically up to 75% to support field operations, client meetings, and onboarding
