As Regional Sales Manager for Germany and Austria, you will own the full commercial cycle—from lead generation to deal closure—executing our sales strategy through a partner ecosystem. Your primary focus will be Germany, where you will build Wingtra’s presence from the ground up by developing partners, acquiring new customers, and acting as a local ambassador for our technology. The role can be based in Switzerland in our HQ's but requires frequent travel across Germany, including product demonstrations, field engagement, and participation in surveying and geospatial events. You will play a key role in driving demand, increasing local visibility, and positioning Wingtra as the preferred solution for aerial data collection. Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the entire sales process, from pipeline generation to meeting and exceeding annual revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive market penetration and business growth in the region.
  • Identify, establish, and grow a regional partner ecosystem by selecting and onboarding new reseller and distribution partners aligned with Wingtra’s GTM strategy
  • Support direct sales efforts in collaboration with our dealers, acting as a trusted advisor and solution-oriented partner.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities (inbound and outbound) by understanding customer needs and pain points.
  • Drive field engagement by organizing product demonstrations, customer site visits, and actively participating in local surveying and geospatial industry events to build awareness and generate demand.
  • Promote Wingtra’s brand and product value proposition across target markets, becoming a visible and credible market ambassador.
  • Gather and share customer use cases and market feedback to contribute to Wingtra’s ongoing strategic development.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information and activity tracking in our CRM system (HubSpot).
  • Requirements
  • University degree in geomatics, engineering, or business, with strong interest in and exposure to geospatial or surveying applications
  • First experience in B2B sales, consulting, or business development
  • Strong ability to sell to target customers while building lasting relationships with distribution partners
  • Highly motivated, eager to learn, and driven to take ownership and grow quickly in a fast-moving environment
  • Comfortable working with both longer, structured sales cycles and faster-paced inbound opportunities
  • Able to understand customer needs and translate them into clear, value-driven solutions
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with CRM and communication tools (e.g. HubSpot)
  • Persuasive, proactive, and independent, with confidence in discussions and negotiations
  • Excellent communication skills in High German (professional or native level required) and English
  • Willingness to travel frequently (up to ~60%), primarily within Germany
