We are searching for a Sales Manager based in Shanghai, to contribute on driving sales strategy for China market and provide support to them to achieve business target.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and understand the business strategy and sales plans to achieve company’s objectives of annual business plan, timelines and budget, including forecasting and sales analysis.
- Maintain effective account management for China distributor FAST by regular travels, calls and emails.
- Manage the end-to-end relationship between FAST and all internal departments liaising with and owing the relationship and communications.
- Work with FAST to place future dated orders to secure products/sales and provide accurate sales forecast.
- Monitor and assist FAST on sales promotions and rebate schemes, ensuring terms and conditions are adhered to.
- Monitor and manage the credit account for FAST in the territory.
- Maintain control of FAST inventory ensuring correct stock levels are maintained, new products are presented and exit strategies for discontinued products implemented.
- Communicate between marketing team, e-commerce team and FAST to align on brand message, look&feel and overall strategy of Fender in China.
- Exploit opportunities to bring new players into the existing market to build the long-term business pipeline.
- Establish and generate sales reporting and analytics on weekly/monthly/quarterly base.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, major in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field is preferred;
- Pr5+ years’ experience in related field with a successful and proven track record; experience in Musical Instruments and DAW/Pro Audio industry is preferred.

Strong understanding of Fender Brand and Guitar community; Playing guitar or bass is preferred;
- Ability to present with confidence to Senior Management, staff, business partner and clients.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain working relationships.
- Good planning and organizational skills and ability to be a self-starter.
- Solid analytical skills to forecast and identify product/sales trends
- Exceptional business acumen with strong instinct for growth opportunities
- Multi-lingual (English highly desired), comfortable working within an International organization and able to influence for positive outcomes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
