Position, Location, Department Full-time | South East Europe (Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia) | Sales – Energy Storage Systems (ESS)
Position Summary The Sales Manager Energy Storage Solutions is responsible for driving localized business development and market expansion for battery energy storage solutions in the relevant region. The role owns the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract closure and payment, while building long-term customer relationships and a regional sales network. This position is an individual contributor role with strong commercial ownership, close collaboration with PV Sales, and a hands-on execution focus.
Reporting Line Reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
Major Responsibilities
- Drive localized market development and business expansion for ESS solutions inSouth-East Europe
- Own the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through contract negotiation, signature, and payment collection
- Develop and manage relationships with key customers, includingdevelopers, EPCs, IPPs, utilities, and industrial customers
- Collaborate closely with PV Sales teams tomaintaincustomer relationships, expand sales channels, and enable cross-selling of integrated PV + ESS solutions
- Identifyupsell opportunities such as system expansion, EMS upgrades, andadditionalservices
- Build andmaintaina strong regional sales network and pipeline to achieve annual sales targets
- Support localized brand promotion by attending regional trade shows, industry exhibitions, and forums
- Organize customer factory visits, technical seminars, and solution presentations in coordination with Technical and HQ teams
- Monitor market developments, policies, and subsidy schemes related to utility energy storage in Italy and Balkan region
- Coordinate with HQ and overseas teams on product promotion, technical alignment, and strategic initiatives
Performance Indicators
- Achievement of annual sales targets (revenue, margin, project volume)
- Number and quality of closed ESS projects
- Sales pipeline development and forecast accuracy
- Timely contract execution and payment collection
- Growth of customer base and repeat business
- Cross-selling and upselling success rate
Your profile
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Energy, or a related field

Minimum1-2 years of experiencein sales of ESS, PCS, EMS, or related energy storage solutions
- Proven experience managing ESS projects independently across the full project lifecycle
- Strong understanding of ESS architecture (battery cells, BMS, PCS, EMS) and ability to interpret technical specifications
- Solid knowledge of international trade practices, including INCOTERMS 2020, L/Cs, performance bonds, and export credit insurance

Travel Requirement
- Frequent travel within South-East Europe
