Sales Manager (Distributions)

TLDR

Drive the distribution business in France by establishing strong relationships with partners, developing sales strategies, and managing key accounts in a rapidly growing solar industry.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the company’s distribution business in France.
  • Continuously establish, develop, and maintain strong business relationships with existing and new distribution partners, particularly within electrical and photovoltaic wholesale channels.
  • Design, develop, and implement the regional sales strategy and sales plan in alignment with the company’s overall commercial objectives.
  • Identify, develop, and manage key accounts, ensuring long-term value creation and strategic partnership.
  • Lead contract negotiations, including commercial terms, and oversee contract follow‑up to ensure successful execution.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from sales forecasting through to product delivery and payment collection, maintaining close coordination with customers and relevant internal departments.
  • Communicate directly with customers regarding matters related to orders, deliveries, and shipments, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all activities and performance related to assigned accounts to the Head of Sales Distribution on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, as required.
  • Identify, establish, and manage multi‑tiered relationships across customer organizations and internal teams to support long‑term business partnerships.
  • Represent the company at local and national trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry conferences.
  • Monitor and stay up to date with market developments, including competitor activities, customer benchmarking, and evolving technical and financial market requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 – 5  years previous experience in selling technical B2B products, ideally in France and Romande.
  • Preferably previous working experience in the solar industry and knowledge of the solar market
  • Ability to liaise with customers on different management levels
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
