Overview of the Role 

  • The Specialist, Sales Execution position is an integral part of the team, providing support to Sales and Sales Operations with the necessary tools and insights to help manage our clients’ businesses. In this role, the team member is expected to take the lead on completing retailer and distributor paperwork, promotional forms, and complete assigned data entry tasks. The Specialist is also responsible for collection of sales reports from various sources, including but not limited to, distributors, and retailers. This position plays a key part in helping to execute daily tasks that maintain the various ongoing sales support processes that are in place. 
  • Location: Remote, if local to Chicago will observe a hybrid schedule in office 3 days.
  • Salary range: $50,000 - $55,000 based on experience, qualifications and skills.

What You’ll Do at C.A. Fortune    

  • Provide support to the Sales and Sales Operations teams with completion of new item forms, promotional paperwork, and data entry tasks   
  • Support the tracking and execution of Category Reviews for all brands within the portfolio 
  • Assist with basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks  
  • Own the collection of new client onboarding materials   
  • Audit SharePoint file systems on a regular basis to ensure all materials, information, and reports are accurate and up to date and the necessary parties have access  
  • Support in routinely updating sales presentation templates as well as retailer specific presentations  
  • Perform any other development and administrative related duties as assigned  

What You Should Bring to the Table 

  • Experience with Retailer paperwork, preferably customers in the Natural channels (e.g., Whole Foods, Sprouts, NCG, INFRA, etc.)
  • Eagerness to learn about the CPG industry 
  • Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint proficiency   
  • A demonstrated competency in multi-tasking and problem-solving with focus on meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment  
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy   
  • Able to collaborate with a team as well as independently motivated   
  • Demonstrate professional written and verbal communication skills
