The Role
Drive revenue by selling complex technical solutions to mid-market customers. Own the full sales cycle—from strategic prospecting to closing high-value deals with senior decision-makers in competitive environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Sales Engineering team, ensuring best-in-class technical support across the pre-sales lifecycle
Own the strategy for technical demos, POCs, and solution design to improve win rates and sales efficiency
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support to align on revenue and customer outcomes
Mentor and develop SEs through coaching, training, and performance management
Establish feedback loops from customers to influence product roadmap and technical documentation
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, tailored demonstrations and POCs
Requirements
8–12 years of experience in technical pre-sales, with B+ year in a people management role
Proven track record of building and leading high-performing SE teams
Strong expertise in data & analytics solutions, ELT/ETL platforms, and the modern data ecosystem
Hands-on experience with SQL, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Deep understanding of B2B SaaS sales cycles and stakeholder-led buying
Strong communication skills with a mindset for continuous learning
Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings or industry events
