Sales Engineer I

TLDR

Utilize technical expertise to support the sales process by creating tailored solutions, delivering demonstrations, and enhancing customer loyalty through effective communication.

Responsibilities
  • Providing end-users, integrators, and other customers technical demonstrations and web demos; including demonstrations of Ignition, answering technical questions and architecture discussions
  • Hosting Lunch and Learns for Integrators, educating them on specific features of Ignition
  • Assisting customers with questionnaires and RFPs
  • Providing solution support to end-users, integrators, and other customers to ensure they have the knowledge needed to successfully thrive using Ignition software
  • Attending various conferences and tradeshows with Public Relations Division; travel may be required
  • Assisting with Ignition Benchmark Testing
  • Building Ignition Exchange resources
  • Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering and at least 2 years of programming and/or database experience OR 4 years of programming and/or database experience
    • Certifications such as: programming bootcamps, cloud infrastructure or networking and 2 years of experience in these areas
    • Experience with Ignition and familiarity with Ignition modules and architectures
    • Ability to provide a basic technical demonstrations
