As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to join our team in New York City. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional eager to be part of a growing firm with a strong market presence.
   
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within financial services, capital markets, and insurance sectors.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand RiskSpan’s client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers.
  • Effectively communicate RiskSpan’s value proposition, demonstrating expertise in risk analytics, financial technology, and industry trends.
  • Quickly learn and develop expertise in RiskSpan’s technology, analytics, and risk management solutions, effectively communicating their value to prospective clients.
  • Work closely with RiskSpan’s internal teams to gain a deep understanding of the platform’s data analytics, modeling capabilities, and risk assessment tools.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and client success teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies and client needs.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, emerging trends, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
 
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 7-10 years of sales experience, preferably at a software firm serving financial services or capital markets.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience selling insurance solutions within the financial technology space.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Deep understanding of the financial services ecosystem, particularly in risk management, analytics, and technology solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building relationships and driving business success.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
