Sales Director, Americas - Dataiku

We’re hiring a Sales Director for the Americas to lead a team of Enterprise Account Managers responsible for retaining and expanding existing Dataiku customers and net-new acquisition.
You’re a customer-obsessed, outcomes-first leader who builds high-performing teams, inspires excellence, and drives durable revenue growth through a land-and-expand approach: stakeholder alignment, whitespace discovery, adoption acceleration, and executive-level value realisation, especially as we evolve our support model.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and scale a team of Enterprise Account Managers: hire, coach, develop, and retain top talent; set a high bar for performance and professionalism.
  • Own the business: deliver on team quota across renewals, expansion, and selective net-new; drive predictable execution and continuous improvement.
  • Run the operating cadence: establish weekly/monthly rhythm (pipeline generation, forecast calls, deal reviews, QBR/QSR prep, enablement, performance coaching).
  • Drive retention and expansion outcomes: ensure customer value realisation, early risk identification, renewal protection, and systematic whitespace conversion across the book.
  • Raise forecasting excellence: enforce structured qualification, inspection-ready CRM hygiene, and high forecast accuracy; coach to better deal strategy and mutual action plans.
  • Lead executive engagement: model and coach senior-level customer conversations; sponsor high-impact QBRs/QSRs and critical negotiations.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional execution: align Renewal Managers, ADRs, CSEs, SEs, Partner Managers, and Services around account plans and customer outcomes.
  • Operate partner-first: build joint plans with partners, enable co-sell motions, and leverage ecosystem routes-to-market to accelerate growth.
  • Enable repeatable net-new motion (selective): ensure inbound conversion and targeted outbound plays are consistent, measurable, and scalable.

What we’re looking for

  • Inspiring leader who drives a team of sellers to greatness with high standards, high care, high accountability.
  • Strong command of structured qualification, deal strategy, and accurate forecasting.
  • People-focused communicator who collaborates well cross-functionally and leads through influence.
  • Partner-first operator who aligns internal teams and partners to deliver outcomes and growth.
  • Ownership: operating like the business is yours by driving clarity, urgency, and results from pipeline to close.
  • Credible trusted advisor who can articulate the value of AI and analytics to executive stakeholders.
  • Energised by solving hard problems alongside great people using AI to create measurable impact.
  • Ability to engage Line-of-Business leaders on business priorities and value (not just technical requirements).

Experience

  • Experience managing an enterprise sales team (player-coach experience welcome, but this is a leadership role).
  • Experience selling/expanding platform solutions (data, analytics, AI, or adjacent) into complex enterprises
  • Proven track record delivering against quota in B2B SaaS (or similar), including complex deal cycles and multi-stakeholder negotiations.
  • Demonstrated success driving renewals and expansion within a book of business; strong understanding of land-and-expand.
  • History of building predictable pipeline, running disciplined operating cadences, and improving forecast accuracy.
