Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

We are a recruitment and training company that helps ambitious young professionals break into Mergers & Acquisitions roles. Our core product is a flat-fee program that combines self-paced education, hands-on mentoring, and direct access to our founders’ recruitment network. This proven system helps candidates land M&A roles in as little as 8 weeks.

Our founder generates a high volume of inbound interest through LinkedIn (200+ leads per week), and we are expanding our team to ensure every prospect receives timely, high-quality communication and is booked into a call with our sales team.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly professional and detail-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to manage and convert all inbound and outbound LinkedIn activity into booked meetings for our sales team.

This role is 100% messaging-based – no cold calling. You will be responding to active leads already messaging the founder, as well as conducting outbound LinkedIn prospecting to generate more qualified conversations. You will be fully trained in our sales framework, messaging structure, objection handling, and daily workflow.

You will own two core responsibilities:

  1. Inbound DM Sales: Respond to all leads in the founder’s LinkedIn inbox and convert them into booked phone calls.
  2. Outbound LinkedIn Prospecting: Send targeted connection requests, message new followers, profile viewers, and post engagers to create new conversations and book more calls.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inbound LinkedIn DM Sales

Respond to all incoming LinkedIn messages with the goal of booking qualified phone calls, using our proven scripts, frameworks, and conversation structures.

2. Outbound LinkedIn Prospecting & DMing

Send connection requests to relevant prospects, message new followers, engage with post interactions, and start DM conversations that lead to booked calls.

3. Follow-Up Management

Ensure no lead goes cold. Consistently follow up using our structured follow-up system to maximise booking conversions.

4. Communication With the Sales Team

Provide timely updates regarding newly booked appointments, reschedules, lead quality insights, and key prospect notes.

5. Professional Representation

Communicate with maturity, clarity, and credibility at all times, as you will be representing our brand to motivated professionals looking to advance their careers.

6. Execution of Sales Framework

Follow our messaging guidelines, objection-handling frameworks, and daily workflow instructions with precision.

7. Lead Tracking & Documentation

Maintain accurate notes and status updates inside our CRM or tracking systems to ensure full transparency and zero lost leads.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven SDR, appointment-setting, or sales support experience.
  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn prospecting and professional communication etiquette.
  • Exceptional written English and ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working within predefined messaging scripts and structured sales frameworks.
  • Ability to handle sensitive candidate information with confidentiality.
  • Experience in professional services, recruitment, finance, consulting, or M&A is a strong advantage.
