About the Company

Our client is a U.S.-based healthcare company focused on improving access to advanced medical technologies for patients with sleep and respiratory conditions. Their mission is to make innovative treatment solutions more accessible for physicians, clinics, and distributors through modern outreach and education.

The company’s sales strategy blends direct provider engagement with B2B distributor partnerships — ensuring their products reach more patients through efficient, informed channels.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) with strong experience in prospecting distributors and sub-distributors in a B2B healthcare setting.

This role is vital to expanding the company’s network of physicians, medical practices, and distributor partners across the U.S. You’ll own the top of the sales funnel — researching, prospecting, and initiating conversations with potential partners who can extend the company’s reach and impact.

If you have a background in healthcare sales or medical distribution prospecting and thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment, this is your opportunity to make a measurable impact.

Your Impact

  • You’ll help expand the company’s presence across the U.S. healthcare ecosystem by identifying and engaging new prescribers and distributor accounts.
  • Your outreach will directly drive access to innovative medical solutions — improving patient care outcomes.
  • You’ll build relationships with B2B distributor networks, enabling the company to scale its operations faster and more effectively.

Core Responsibilities

Prospecting & Lead Generation – 40%

  • Identify and prospect distributors, sub-distributors, and healthcare providers across U.S. regions.
  • Research and qualify new B2B accounts and medical practices using LinkedIn, Apollo, and other tools.
  • Execute high-volume outreach through email, phone, and LinkedIn to secure discovery calls and meetings.
  • Maintain detailed prospect information and engagement records within Salesforce.

Account Management & Relationship Nurturing – 35%

  • Manage ongoing communications with assigned distributors and providers.
  • Support bulk order inquiries, product details, and partnership opportunities.
  • Maintain consistent engagement to strengthen long-term B2B relationships.
  • Collaborate with leadership to optimize account prioritization and outreach strategy.

Reporting & Data Management – 25%

  • Ensure accurate CRM data entry for all outreach and activity metrics.
  • Track pipeline performance and conversion rates in Salesforce.
  • Provide weekly activity reports and highlight new business opportunities or risks.

Requirements

Must-Have

  • 1+ years of experience in healthcare sales, medical distribution, or SDR/account management roles.
  • Proven experience prospecting and engaging distributors or sub-distributors in a B2B setting.
  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
  • Hands-on experience using CRMs (Salesforce preferred) and outreach tools (Apollo, LinkedIn, Halo).
  • Strong research discipline and attention to detail in managing pipelines.
  • Proven ability to work independently and meet outbound activity KPIs in a remote environment.
  • Availability to work U.S. EST hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM).

Nice-to-Have

  • Background in medical device, equipment, or healthcare product sales.
  • Experience working with healthcare distributors or channel sales partners.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA-adjacent communication and compliance standards.
  • Track record of consistent lead conversion or appointment-setting success.

Tools Proficiency

  • CRM: Salesforce (required)
  • Outreach Platforms: Apollo, Halo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Communication: Gmail, Zoom, Slack
  • Data & Reporting: Google Sheets, Docs
  • Preferred: HubSpot, Airtable, Notion

Soft Skills & Cultural Fit

  • Resourceful and persistent — thrives on finding the right contact and breaking through gatekeepers.
  • Confident communicator with polished written and verbal skills.
  • Organized, consistent, and goal-oriented in meeting outreach KPIs.
  • Collaborative yet independent — works well within global teams.
  • Motivated by results, impact, and long-term growth opportunities.
