Sales Development Representative

TLDR

Drive the expansion strategy of a unique hyperlocal marketplace while impacting revenue growth through effective prospecting and client onboarding.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Evangelize the Neighbor story to small businesses and commercial real estate owners
  • Build a robust sales pipeline by targeting and effectively calling cold leads
  • Efficiently manage and follow up on warm inbound leads
  • Identify new sales opportunities through proactive prospecting and industry research
  • Maintain accurate activity and lead qualification information in the CRM to ensure a smooth sales cycle follow-through
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to maximize client success
  • Qualifications:
  • Resilience and Persistence: A proven ability to maintain a positive outlook and continue pursuing goals despite obstacles, particularly in a cold-calling environment. You are driven to follow through until the objective is achieved.
  • Diverse Backgrounds Welcome: We are looking for high-potential individuals, including sales professionals, and recent/soon-to-be graduates eager to launch a career in sales. We value transferable skills and are open to candidates from all backgrounds.
  • Compelling Storyteller: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a history of being able to connect with, influence, and convince diverse groups of people and customers.
  • Organizational Prowess: Highly organized and adept at prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Team Player: Willingness to wear multiple hats and collaborate cross-functionally to suggest and implement process improvements.
  • Bachelor's degree or 1+ years of relevant sales experience
