Our training program will prepare you to be an effective and successful Sales Development Representative (SDR) by building sales skills and learning about Informa TechTarget’s product offerings. You will have direct exposure to management and be a part of the fastest growing part of our business. You will play a major role in growing Informa TechTarget’s data and subscription business and work to generate revenue by developing opportunities via phone, email and social messaging for the Informa TechTarget Account Executives.

As our new Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll:

  • Making outbound sales calls against an assigned territory
  • Leveraging a variety of sales tools to engage target prospects
  • Managing social media tools for inbound prospect development
  • Interacting with target prospects and providing high level value proposition
  • Generating qualified leads and setting sales appointments
  • Managing and updating prospecting status via CRM (Salesforce.com)
  • 1-2 years’ work experience and bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong work ethic – committed to building a career in the high paying field of sales
  • Boundless energy and enthusiasm
  • A love for merit-based environments where your hard work pays off 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms like LinkedIn
