Job Summary  

As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a key part in generating and qualifying leads, scheduling appointments, and ensuring accurate CRM data. You will work closely with both Marketing and Sales to ensure a strong, well-managed pipeline of new business opportunities. Written and verbal business English and German language skills are required.

Hours of work and location

Our team works Monday – Friday, either 7.00am – 4.00pm or 8.00am – 5.00pm.  

We would require the candidate to occasionally work outside of office hours, primarily to communicate with colleagues in Australia and the US. Ability to travel within the EMEA region periodically.

What You’ll Do  

  • Identify, research, and qualify leads in collaboration with marketing
  • Conduct cold calls and outbound outreach to engage new prospects and follow up with existing customers
  • Create and pre-qualify leads via phone and email before passing them to the Business Development Managers
  • Source and research potential clients using LinkedIn, Cognism, and other tools
  • Provide ongoing updates on sales performance and business development activities
  • Support the sales team with information requests, pricing, and contract preparation
  • Assist with marketing campaigns, including pulling email lists from Salesforce and supporting bulk mailouts
  • Manage Salesforce data to ensure all lead, opportunity, and customer information is accurate and up to date
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of Region and contribute to wider sales initiatives
  • Act as a positive representative of Infomedia and uphold high standards of professionalism and integrity.

What You’ll Bring  

  • Excellent written and verbal English skills, with strong German language skills
  • Confidence engaging customers via phone and email, including cold calling
  • Previous telesales or junior sales experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and record-keeping abilities
  • Comfortable using online research tools and CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a regional team
  • Strong administrative skills and adaptability under pressure
  • Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude
  • Clear, articulate, and polite telephone manner
  • Strong written communication, able to engage technical and non-technical audiences
