Sales Development Representative

TLDR

Engage prospects through high-volume outbound sales activities, focusing on qualification and appointment setting to support the sales organization effectively.

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly driven and disciplined Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support partner’s sales organization. This role is focused on outbound prospecting, data discovery, and qualification. The SDR will engage prospects via phone and email, gather key business and technical information, and book qualified meetings for our sales team.

This is a high‑activity role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and comfort operating in a structured sales process.

 

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Prospecting & Outreach

  • Make 80–100 outbound phone calls per day to prospects across assigned accounts and campaigns
  • Send follow‑up and outbound emails aligned to call activity and sales motions
  • Execute call and email cadences consistently and professionally

Discovery & Qualification

  • Conduct discovery with prospects
  • Capture accurate notes and findings in the CRM
  • Qualify prospects against defined criteria before scheduling meetings

Appointment Setting

  • Book qualified meetings directly onto the sales team’s calendar
  • Ensure meetings are properly documented with clear context and notes
  • Set expectations with prospects on meeting purpose and next steps

CRM & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate and timely updates in Microsoft Dynamics
  • Log all call activity, emails, notes, and outcomes
  • Keep lead and contact data clean, complete, and up to date

 

Required Experience & Skills

Core Requirements

  • 1–3 years of Sales Development or Business Development experience
  • Proven experience in a high‑volume outbound calling environment
  • Comfortable making 80–100 calls per day
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills
  • Experience booking meetings for sales or account executives

Technical & Tooling Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Experience working within structured sales processes and cadences
  • Understanding of B2B technology or IT services sales

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Familiarity with Microsoft licensing models (Microsoft 365, CSP, nonprofit licensing, etc.)
  • Experience selling or supporting IT services, MSPs, or Microsoft‑centric solutions
  • Exposure to qualification frameworks and data discovery workflows (BANT and SPICE)

 

Performance Expectations

  • Consistently meet daily call and activity targets
  • Maintain high data accuracy and CRM hygiene
  • Deliver qualified, well‑documented meetings to the sales team
  • Follow defined scripts, talk tracks, and qualification guidelines
  • Demonstrate coachability and continuous improvement
