Sales Data Analyst

Reporting to the Senior Data Lead, the Sales Information/ Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, processing, synthesizing, and analyzing sales data for the use of the TCM, Sales, CMII, Brand Category Mktg, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.

1. Data Collection and Validation:

  • Collect, validate, and maintain accurate sales data from various sources, including internal databases and external platforms.
  • Implement data quality checks and validations to ensure data integrity and reliability.

2. Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Generate regular reports to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making.

3. Process Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities for streamlining data management processes and improving efficiency.
  • Implement best practices for data governance and data management within the Trade Channel Marketing team.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales, and finance, to ensure seamless communication and alignment of data-related activities.
  • Work closely with the team to provide data support for trade marketing initiatives of the marketing team.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • College degree equivalent or technical certificate in related field
  • 2 years experience in data analysis
  • Background in data collection, aggregation, reporting
  •

  • Familiarity with data extraction from systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
  • A high level of analytical capabilities
  • The ability to gather, extract, analyse, model and interpret data
  • Problem-solving skills
  • A methodical and logical approach
  • The ability to plan work and meet deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • An understanding of the ethics of gathering and working with data
  • Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI; pivot tables, vlookup, conditional functions, conditional formatting, chart building, and formatting; powerpoint
  • Ability to build dashboards with simple but clear data visualizations
  • REPORTS TO: Senior Data Lead 
  • Willing to work in BGC, Taguig
  • Hybrid work set-up
