Sales Consultant - Remittances: CAPE TOWN

Job Mission / Objective

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to join our team, specializing in remittance services and foreign exchange (Forex) products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, extensive knowledge of remittance and Forex markets, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships

Reports to

Sales Manager

Main Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

  • Identify and target potential clients for remittance and Forex products.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Provide clients with comprehensive information about remittance and Forex products.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively

Product Knowledge and Advisory

  • Stay informed about the latest developments in the remittance and Forex markets.
  • Advise clients on the best remittance and Forex solutions to meet their needs.
  • Conduct product presentations and training sessions for clients

Sales Reporting and Analysis

  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including sales performance, client feedback, and market insights.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to enhance sales strategies.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and agreements.
  • Assist in the preparation of necessary documentation for remittance and Forex transactions

Requirements

Academic Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Must have RE5

Work Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on remittances and/or Forex products.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
