Sales & Business Operations Intern (Summer)

Multi Service Fuel Card provides fuel cards and payment solutions to trucking and logistics companies across the U.S. We help fleet operators control costs, streamline fuel purchases, and manage expenses more efficiently in one of the most dynamic industries in the country. 
  
Paid Internship Summary 
  
We are looking for a motivated and curious Summer Intern who is eager to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced payments and logistics environment. This is a hands-on role designed for someone who wants to explore sales, marketing, account management, and core business operations.  
  
You will receive direct exposure to cold calling, prospecting, and customer relationship building while also rotating through different departments to understand how a growing company operates end-to-end. This internship is perfect for students interested in sales, business development, marketing, finance, or the payments/fleet industry.  
   
What You’ll Do and Learn  
  • Sales & Prospecting: Make outbound calls, qualify leads, learn proven cold-calling techniques, and support the sales team in closing new accounts.  
  • Marketing Fundamentals: Assist with campaign execution, social media, email outreach, and content creation to generate interest in our fuel card solutions.  
  • Account Management: Help maintain existing customer relationships, process requests, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.  
  • Industry Exposure: Learn the inner workings of the payments industry and the trucking/logistics sector, including how fuel cards integrate into fleet operations. 
  • Cross-Functional Rotations: Spend dedicated time shadowing and contributing in:  
  • Product Engineering  
  • Human Resources  
  • Finance  
  • Underwriting  
  • Operations  
   
Additional tasks may include data entry, research on potential clients, preparing reports, and supporting day-to-day team needs.  
   
Who We’re Looking For  
  • Current undergraduate student (rising junior or senior preferred)  
  • Strong interest in sales, business development, and learning how a company runs  
  • Comfortable making phone calls and communicating with potential customers  
  • Proficient with computers (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, CRM tools a plus)  
  • Reliable, coachable, and excited to learn in a professional environment  
  • Interest in the payments or trucking/logistics industries is a big plus  
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic 
  • No prior professional experience required - just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
