Sales Account Executive

Interested in working in a dynamic, pre-IPO, cloud startup?  Skytap is seeking a talented Sales Account Executive to leverage their enterprise sales skills and technical domain knowledge to expand Skytap’s client base - specifically in the Fortune 1000 crowd. You will work with bleeding edge Cloud technology and enterprise level clients; solve big business problems with a team that truly values innovation; and be part of a growing company in which your contributions can make a big impact.

 Skytap is a global Public Cloud service purpose-built for migrating and running traditional applications in the Cloud, with more than a dozen global regions built on Microsoft Azure.  Skytap makes it easy for clients to accelerate their journey to the Cloud by rapidly migrating enterprise workloads to the Cloud, enabling modern development practices, and integrating new cloud architectures.

In this role you will:

  • Leverage value based selling techniques to sell to CXOs in a defined territory of large enterprise clients
  • Prospect, develop, and close prospects for Skytap’s game changing technology
  • Run your territory as a business, working closely with channel and partners (CSPs), while creating and managing a large pipeline of opportunities
  • Understand Cloud technology and demonstrate a strong technical aptitude to deliver compelling presentations, Business Value Assessments, and proposals to executives
  • Strong customer management skills to make our customers successful!

You are someone with:

  • Strong experience in enterprise sales to the Fortune 1000, selling business outcomes
  • Strong growth mindset, technical background, keen passion for learning and ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Proven history of consistently exceeding target sales goals, strong technical selling experience, works very well with partners, CSPs, GSIs
  • Motivation to excel, driven by high earning potential and equity
  • Deep knowledge of hyperscale cloud technology, preferably Azure
  • Demonstrable experience selling enterprise cloud and working with partners, preferably Azure
