Requirements

Safety Manager: This is where you come in.

We’re looking for a Safety Manager who will audit and provide safety guidance on sites throughout the Greater Seattle Area. The Safety Manager is expected to assist in the administration of the Safety Program to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero:

• Promote MacDonald-Miller’s Safety Program at all times through various efforts – including while walking the jobsite, coordinating safety training programs, and creating and assembling site-specific safety manuals.
• Coordinate, create, and present both safety and hygiene training.
• Evaluate subcontractor paperwork, including filing L&I reports and calling subcontractors.

The Safety Manager reports to Austin Marotta, Regional Safety Manager on a collaborative team working on a variety of projects and initiatives to support our growing business. This highly visible role interacts with all levels and functions within the organization.

Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role?

You should have…

• A 4-year degree in occupational safety/ health or equivalent combination of technical training and/ or industrial safety experience

• The ability to recognize hazardous situations and suggest corrective measures
• Proficient knowledge of WA OSHA regulations

Benefits

Compensation: $90,000 - $117,000 Annually
