Why Midnite?

Midnite is a next-generation betting platform that is built for today’s fandom. We are a collective of engineers and designers who all share a passion for building the best sportsbook & casino experience possible, allowing our fans to feel closer to the games they love through the rush of winning money. Unlike the alternatives, Midnite doesn't feel like a website built two decades ago. Instead, it's a cutting-edge creation, designed and constructed from the ground up with the latest technologies. Crafting an experience that's truly intuitive, immersive, and immediately understandable is no walk in the park, but we thrive on the challenge. We believe we're on the brink of creating something truly awesome.

What will you do?

We are looking for a proactive and empathetic Safer Gambling Analyst to join our Safer Gambling Team within the Compliance department. This is a high-impact role at the heart of our player protection strategy.

This is a multi-disciplinary position with Safer Gambling as the core focus. You will work directly with customers, identify risk indicators, and take meaningful action to ensure we meet both our regulatory obligations and our commitment to responsible play. Alongside this, you will build foundational knowledge of our Anti-Financial Crime processes, with opportunities to expand your expertise across wider Compliance functions as you grow in the role.

How will you do it?

  • Engage directly with customers via email, live chat, and outbound phone calls who may be at risk of or actively experiencing gambling-related harm, taking appropriate action in line with current legislation, internal policies, and procedures.
  • Support, uphold, and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal policies and processes designed to prevent gambling-related harm.
  • Manage escalations and queries from the Player Success Team relating to operational compliance cases and processes.
  • Monitor Safer Gambling and Operational Compliance communication channels and inboxes, ensuring SLAs are met and customer experience remains as seamless as possible.
  • Handle complaint cases appropriately and professionally while on shift.
  • Review and analyse customer accounts from both a Safer Gambling and Anti-Financial Crime perspective, whether flagged through internal reporting systems or identified through Player Success interactions.
  • Escalate cases where necessary to safeguard player protection and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Proactively recommend improvements to Operational Compliance and Player Success processes to enhance effectiveness and customer outcomes.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Experience in Safer Gambling, Anti-Money Laundering, VIP risk, or a similar risk-based environment is advantageous but not essential. We welcome candidates from transferable backgrounds such as teaching, sales, customer engagement, or other roles that demonstrate strong nurturing ability, critical thinking, sound judgement, and confident communication.
  • Experience making outbound customer calls is preferred, particularly where you have handled sensitive or challenging conversations. Exposure to a regulated industry environment is beneficial, with iGaming experience preferred.
  • You should be comfortable assessing customer accounts from a risk-based perspective, with familiarity in KYC and customer due diligence processes considered desirable.
  • This role requires high emotional intelligence and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy while remaining objective and professional. You will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage your workload effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the confidence to engage in difficult conversations where necessary. You should also be comfortable working shifts in line with business needs.
