Azumo is looking for a versatile and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. You will work focused on the identity space, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of a full suite of Edge software. The position is based remotely in Latin America.

This position will give you the opportunity to collaborate with a growing team of bright engineering minds. While the core components are primarily written in Rust, we value engineers with diverse language backgrounds (such as C# or Go) who can adapt and contribute effectively to the technology stack.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

    • Advanced English Level (Written and verbal communication skills).
    • 6+ years of experience in software engineering.
    • Strong Programming Foundation: Excellent skills in systems languages such as Rust, Go, or C++.
    • Systems and Infrastructure Experience: Experience deploying, operating, or troubleshooting software in production environments (Linux, Windows, cloud platforms, or containerized environments).
    • Ownership Mentality: Proven ability to take complete ownership of a project, from planning and development to release and maintenance.
    • Self-driven and motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Rust Expertise: Direct experience with Rust programming, async development, and systems-level programming.
    • Windows Ecosystem: Familiarity with Windows development (Services, registry, permissions), .NET/C# applications, and WiX Toolset/installer development.
    • Cloud & Container Experience: Familiarity with Kubernetes, container orchestration, Serverless architectures, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
    • Experience contributing to open-source projects or building high-quality internal tools/SDKs.
