Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Production Support & Maintenance:
• Provide on-call support for critical application errors and infrastructure issues.
• Troubleshoot failures in nightly ETL processes, databases, or third-party integrations.
• Error Management & Debugging:
• Investigate non-critical errors and infrastructure heuristics.
• Debug and approve automated library updates via Dependabot.
• Application Upgrades & Enhancements:
• Conduct Ruby and Rails version upgrades to resolve EOL or security issues.
• Continuously improve existing codebases, systems, and infrastructure.
• Feature Development:
• Design and implement new features in existing applications.
• Enhance system integrations and handle real-time updates using Turbo and ActionCable.
• Testing & Deployment:
• Implement automated unit and full-stack integration tests using RSpec and Capybara.
• Ensure robust deployment pipelines with CircleCI for continuous integration.
• Vendor Migration & Configuration:
• Support vendor migrations and ensure smooth integration with new services.
• Configure and update systems for regular business updates.
• End-User Support:
• Provide real-time assistance and handle end-user support requests.

Requirements:

• Primary (Must-Have):
• 4 + years of expertise in Ruby on Rails (Frontend & Backend).
• Production Support experience and willingness to handle critical tasks.
• Secondary (Good-to-Have):
• Proficiency with Aptible and JIRA.
• Prior experience in the healthcare domain is a plus.
• Lead experience is preferred.
• Technical Stack:
• Testing: Automated unit and full-stack integration tests (RSpec/Capybara)
• Frontend Components: TailwindCSS, DaisyUI
• Real-Time Updates: Turbo, ActionCable
• Background Jobs: Sidekiq Pro
