Our dynamic platform enables hospitals to fulfill personnel needs in real time, while allowing high-quality veterinary professionals to secure work at the click of a button. Roo is looking for a passionate and entrepreneurial veterinary student to join us for an immersive summer internship. The goal is to enhance and innovate our Roo University externship program, paving the way for future veterinarians to have stronger and healthier careers. Intern will work in collaboration with the marketing team, product, design, and sales team for an all encompassing window into the world of startups and entrepreneurship. This position is part time up to 20 hours per week.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop a template and protocol for Roo University lunch and learns and large scale events
- Review our externship interface from a student perspective, highlighting opportunities for optimization and growth
- General overview of Roo University social media, including reels, posts, and influencer opportunities
- Explore new features for Roo University that foster student engagement and industry awareness
- Develop and facilitate student value props and key areas of focus for the 2023 and beyond
About You
- Actively enrolled in accredited veterinary school
- Highly self-driven with a passion to solve problems and research solutions
- Excellent communication & organizational skills
- Timely and efficient in task accuracy and completions
- Flexible & agile, ability to pivot quickly
- Social media experience a plus
- Driven to improve processes/ communications
- Excited to join an ever growing team of professional diverse individuals
