RN – Operating Room (OR)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN-OR) to assist surgeons and circulators in providing safe, high-quality surgical care. The RN will maintain a sterile environment and support perioperative procedures, including on-call responsibilities.

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Unit: Operating Room (Circulation & Scrub)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the circulator and surgeon during surgical procedures

• Perform circulating duties as needed

• Maintain a safe and sterile surgical environment

• Ensure patient safety and compliance with all policies and procedures

• Adhere to State and Federal healthcare regulations

• Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled

Requirements

Shift & Call Details

• Schedule Options:

  1. 4x10s: 7:00am–5:30pm or 8:00am–6:30pm

  2. 5x8s: 7:00am–3:30pm, 9:00am–5:30pm, or 10:00am–6:30pm
     

• On-Call:

  1. One weeknight call per week

  2. Weekend call every 5th–7th weekend
     

Mandatory Requirements

• Active RN license (VT or compact, as applicable)

• Recent Operating Room (OR) experience

• Ability to work rotating shifts

• Willingness to take on-call assignments
