As a member of our team, you will be responsible for detecting and preventing fraudulent activities, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Become part of a team utilising a number of tools and methods to identify fraud patterns, reduce the risk and protect SumUp & our clients - small & medium merchants from criminal activity! 

What you'll do:

• Monitor and analyse customer transactions to detect fraudulent activities and trends, preventing financial loss for the company.
• Manage fraud-related notifications from processors, acquirers, and external PSPs.
• Propose process improvements, based on established best practices, to identify and address risks effectively.
• Exercise sound judgment in line with company values and established policies and procedures.
• Support daily operational functions by addressing Risk and Anti-fraud inquiries from clients and internal business channels.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to monitor and manage fraud incidents across various prepaid products and channels.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in fraud prevention and share knowledge with the team.

You'll be great for this position if:

• You have initial experience working with Fraud detection and prevention and are looking to further grow in this area.
• You have experience with regulatory compliance requirements.
• You have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English.
• You can multi-task, complete tasks/projects on time, and possess strong analytical skills.
• You have strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently in a flexible, fast-paced, production-oriented environment on varying shifts.
• You are able to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
• You have intermediate experience with Word and Excel.
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
