Leverage your expertise in RF simulation and circuit design to enhance AI understanding of engineering tasks through flexible project-based work.
Opportunity Overview
Handshake is looking for skilled Qucs-S users to support AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. This is not a traditional job. You'll draw on your hands-on experience with RF circuit simulation, microwave design, or analog circuit analysis to evaluate AI-generated content and provide feedback that helps AI better understand RF and microwave engineering tasks and simulation workflows.
This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity you can take on alongside anything else you have going on.
Who This Is For
This is a good fit if you're an experienced Qucs-S user who has worked in or around roles like:
RF Engineer or Microwave Engineer
Analog Design Engineer or Electronics Researcher
PCB Designer or Circuit Design Engineer
You should have solid experience with one or more of the following:
RF, analog, or microwave circuit simulation using Qucs-S or Ngspice
Schematic capture, signal analysis, or mixed-signal design workflows
Annotating or labeling circuit schematics and simulation outputs
Reviewing simulation results for accuracy, performance, or design consistency
What You'll Do
You'll use your experience with Qucs-S to create tool-related questions and review AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance to real-world RF and microwave circuit design workflows.
No prior AI or technical experience is required.
Qualifications
We're looking for people who have:
At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Qucs-S, whether through professional work or freelance projects
