Key Responsibilities:
 
•    Design and Development: Design and development of RF circuits, mostly high-power amplifiers for cellular base station applications.
 
•    Simulation and Analysis: Utilize simulation tools to model and analyze RF circuits, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
 
•    Prototyping: Design and build prototypes and conduct thorough testing to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement.
 
•    Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, firmware developers, and project managers, to integrate RF components into larger systems.
 
•    Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve RF-related issues through systematic troubleshooting and analysis, both in the lab and in real-world scenarios.
 
•    Compliance: Ensure designs meet regulatory standards and compliance requirements for RF emissions, safety, and performance.
 
•    Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of design specifications, test plans, and results to facilitate collaboration and future reference.
 
•    Continuous Learning: Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in RF design to contribute innovative ideas and solutions.
 
Qualifications:
 
•    Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field.

•    Proven experience in RF design, including the design of RF circuits and systems. 

•    Familiar with design and tuning of Doherty amplifiers for cellular base stations.  

•    Having the dexterity/skill to solder chip components and similar parts, which is essential for prototyping.

•    Proficiency in simulation tools such as ADS, Microwave Office, or equivalent.

•    Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, transmission lines, and RF propagation.

•    Experience with RF testing equipment and techniques.

•    Fundamental knowledge about device physics related to GaN (Gallium Nitride) HEMTs 

•    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•    Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Compensation: 
 
The base salary range for this position is $140k-170k/annually. Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, competencies and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation and benefits package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives.
