The Recipe (About the Role)

The Reward Manager oversees the implementation of the reward strategy, providing both strategic and operational expertise. They will manage cyclical reward processes such as salary reviews, bonuses, and benefits, ensuring they are fair, competitive, compliant, and aligned with business goals.

Collaborating with HR Business Partners, HR Operations, Finance, Procurement, and external providers, the Reward Manager ensures efficient reward operations and maintains job grading structures. They manage data integrity and provide data insights, while upholding external best practices and Weetabix values.

  • Implement reward solutions aligned with the Reward strategy for consistent execution.
  • Deliver the annual reward cycle with accurate and transparent salary reviews and benefits administration.
  • Manage the annual bonus programme in coordination with Finance, HR, and PHI.
  • Act as custodian of the grading structure and job evaluation framework, ensuring consistency and record accuracy.
  • Conduct benchmarking exercises using market data to ensure competitiveness.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners for data-driven advice on pay, promotions, and retention strategies.
  • Liaise with external providers & Procurement to manage contractors with benefit providers, and ensure effective delivery.
  • Monitor statutory and market changes to ensure compliance with government requirements.
  • Assist employee understanding of reward through clear and engaging communications.
  • Bring in inspiration & data led insights, to help shape our future Reward Strategy, working with the Head of HR.

The Ingredients (What we need from you)

Key Know How:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of reward frameworks, pay structures, benchmarking techniques, and job evaluation systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing annual compensation, bonus, and benefits cycles.
  • Strong understanding of UK reward-related regulations (including equal pay, gender pay transparency, national minimum wage/national living wage, pensions, salary sacrifice, and benefits taxation).
  • Excellent data and numerical skills, turning data into real insight, with expertise in advanced Excel and HR data reporting and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Pragmatic and commercial mindset, balancing rigour with practicality.
  • Clear communicator, able to explain complex reward concepts simply and credibly.
  • Familiar with HRIS and data governance standards to ensure compliance and accuracy.
