Position Overview

Align seeks a Revit Drafter to support day-to-day production drafting across active projects. The ideal candidate is a hands-on Revit production resource who can accurately translate markups and redlines into clean, well-organized drawings while working within established Revit standards.

The position is focused on day-to-day drafting execution. Candidates should be comfortable producing drawings efficiently, maintaining consistency across sheets and views, and supporting project teams by keeping drawing sets current and accurate.

Primary responsibilities include supporting design and construction documentation that may involve architectural and/or MEP drawing production depending on project needs, with an emphasis on reliability, detail, and throughput.

The position is primarily remote with occasional travel (~10%) to project sites.

This is a full-time salaried position offering a base range of $65,000 - $90,000 (commensurate with experience), comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and paid training.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience producing construction drawings in Autodesk Revit
  • Ability to accurately draft from markups, redlines, and written direction
  • Comfort working within established Revit templates, standards, and workflows
  • Strong attention to detail and drawing consistency
  • Ability to manage revisions, updates, and drawing changes efficiently
  • Familiarity with architectural and/or MEP drawing conventions
  • Effective communication with internal project team members
  • Ability to meet drafting deadlines in an active production environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of professional Revit drafting experience
  • Exposure to commercial, industrial, or large-scale building projects
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD for supporting or legacy drawings
  • Experience working through multiple revision cycles on active projects
  • Basic understanding of coordination between architectural and MEP elements

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day drafting requests by working through the team’s daily ticket system, completing assigned production tasks and revisions as directed by senior team members
  • Produce accurate Revit drawings based on markups and direction from senior team members
  • Draft and update plans, sections, elevations, and details as required
  • Maintain organized models, views, sheets, and annotations in line with standards
  • Apply revisions and track drawing updates throughout project phases
  • Support project teams by keeping drawing sets current and coordinated
  • Flag drafting issues or inconsistencies for clarification as needed
  • Contribute to timely project delivery through consistent production output
