Position Overview:
The Revenue Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s revenue-related processes, including accounts receivable, billing, and revenue recognition. This role is critical in ensuring data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with strategic business goals.
The Revenue Operations Lead will drive process improvements, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to the successful implementation and enhancement of the NetSuite ERP system. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and expertise in revenue operations and financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and Optimize Revenue Processes:
- Oversee and improve the entire revenue operations cycle, including retail sales orders, invoice processing, accounts receivable, and collections, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.
- Ensure the precise recording of marketplace and online sales across all company systems, including Looker Studio Dashboards and NetSuite.
- Monitor and resolve revenue operations issues to maintain accurate and complete financial data.
- Streamline Workflows and Foster Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, finance, logistics, and customer service teams to resolve issues and support revenue growth.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance data quality and operational efficiency.
- Manage Communication and Leadership:
- Develop and maintain clear communication channels and structured reporting to keep leadership informed of revenue operations and collections matters.
- Serve as the key point of contact for leadership regarding revenue operations.
- Billing and Collections Management
- Design and implement a structured follow-up process for overdue invoices.
- Maintain effective communication with customers to address payment delays promptly.
- Develop and enforce billing and collections procedures to mitigate risks and ensure the timely reconciliation of discrepancies (e.g., incorrect invoicing, payment variances, and customer disputes).
- Monitor and optimize billing cycles to ensure timely invoicing and collections.
- Evaluate aging accounts to identify overdue balances and potential bad debt risks.
- Work proactively to resolve billing issues and minimize revenue leakage.
- Collaborate with the sales team to escalate overdue accounts and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure Compliance and Support Audits:
- Assist with external audits related to revenue operations processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in revenue accounting, accounts receivable and collections, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced e-commerce environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced workplace and switch gears with ease.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. NetSuite experience is a plus.

Salary: $2,000 - $2,500 per month (based on experience)
