Retention Team Leader
TLDR
Lead and motivate a team of Retention Agents to drive customer retention and provide tailored solutions, supporting a rapidly growing and innovative organization.
The role of Retention Team Leader is extremely important to our business. You will play a key role in supporting and retaining our existing UK Fuels clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored, value‑led solutions.
You will be responsible for leading, coaching and motivating a team of Retention Agents, while also remaining hands‑on with customers to drive retention, sales and service excellence.
We would love to welcome you to our Crewe Campus office, working hours of Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Your responsibilities day to day will be…
- Lead, coach and support a team of Retention Agents to achieve individual and team targets
- Organise workflows, priorities and daily activity to ensure optimal performance
- Make a high volume of outbound calls to retain and service existing customers
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships between Radius and our customers
- Act as a point of knowledge for Radius products and services, confidently answering customer and agent queries
- Drive customer retention through effective objections handling and solution‑based selling
- Capture customer feedback and turn insights into actions that improve performance and customer experience
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross‑sell Radius products and services based on customer requirements
- Lead by example by consistently demonstrating excellent customer service and sales behaviours
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a customer retention, sales or contact centre leadership role
- Strong coaching and people‑management skills
- Confident, clear communicator with a customer‑first mindset
- Target‑driven with a passion for retaining and growing customer relationships
- Able to work at pace while maintaining attention to detail
What do we expect of you?
- Fuel account knowledge/experience in the industry is preferred.
- Good communication skills and telephone manner
- Driven approach to meet and exceed expectations of customers.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft office programmes e.g. Excel
